St. Theresa Church

This renovation of the existing sanctuary of a large parish church in the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston focuses around a new baldacchino in the form of a triumphal arch and new marble altar. The polychromed Corinthian columns give a monumental scale to this large church and draw the focus to three elements: the altar, tabernacle, and crucifix above.
