A sanctuary renovation entitled, “Christ at the Center,” is designed to beautify the existing sanctuary of Saint Catherine of Siena Parish. A new limestone and marble retablo is comprised of four Composite Indiana limestone columns which surround a crucifix with a diamond-matched giallo reale marble backdrop. Between the broken arched cornices, a Holy Spirit dove and rays adorn the upper pediment. Statues of Saint Catherine and Saint John Vianney are placed to the sides of the retablo.
A new freestanding altar in botticino classico and giallo reale marble features an illuminated reliquary grille facing the nave. A new bianco lasa marble tabernacle with lapis lazuli pilasters rests atop a marble tabernacle pedestal behind the altar of sacrifice. Two Ionic side shrines in limestone are dedicated to the Blessed Virgin and Saint Joseph.
